EU announces tax on China's export of ceramic tableware

 On May 15, the EU announced that it officially imposed tariffs on ceramic tableware exported from China to the EU. The tax rate is based on the specific porcelain used for meals, up to 36.1%.

 The EU announcement pointed out that the interim tariff mediation period that began on November 15 last year has passed. The EU has determined that Chinese porcelain has evidence of dumping and will impose tariffs on China's imported products for a long time.

 Due to the different levels of dumping involved in Chinese porcelain, ranging from 17.6% to 58.8%, more than ten Chinese porcelain export companies have been subject to tariffs ranging from 13.1% to 36.1%.
