I found one of the most useful techniques to host stress --
The free dinner party is to make some recipes in advance.
I find that too many last minute jobs can overwhelm me, so I plan as many layoffs as I can in advance.
The more dishes you can prepare a day or hours before the guest rings, the more stress you will be able to relieve.
Work your imagination for you!
Try to imagine that at the last minute of work you have to put the dinner on the table and reduce them to the minimum you feel comfortable.
It's helpful to think about what all these last minute jobs are: Put the ice water tank, light the candle, put the food on the plate and bring the guests to the table.
By the way, these are the jobs your guests can do.
What is your tolerance for last minute work?
Now ask yourself, what is your tolerance for last-minute work?
If it's low, then you should consider finding some recipes that will definitely reduce the last minute of work.
This is especially true if you are an inexperienced chef.
Some of the recipes I rely on are made
In front, some are just items that I can take home from the store and put in delicious dishes.
Some chefs even make everything out.
If you like stew, lasagna and casserole then you can do the same.
But I prefer to serve delicious roast lamb, beef or chicken on special items on the menu.
Fortunately, these dishes are something you can put in the oven and leave to yourself when you do something else.
If you can add potatoes and vegetables to the barbecue, you have almost all the advantages of makingahead.
Once you put them in the oven next to the grill, you can ignore them until they are cooked.
So I tend to look for appetizers, salads, side dishes and desserts that I can make in advance, or go straight from the store, or vegetables that I can cook with a barbecue.
I can then focus on last minute things like sliced barbecue, making gravy and putting things on the table.
The most important thing for me is the appetizer.
When the doorbell rang, I found it too stressful to cook.
You may find the same situation if you host it yourself.
So I tried to do one. ahead or buy-
Appetizer recipe for me.
Because some of my guests like to stick to very light appetizers while others like to listen to appetizers.
You can make pre-made recipes for your family dinner party.
I suggest you start with an appetizer.
If you want to see some of my favorites, go to my production-
Appetizers page on my website.
Enjoy minimizing the stress of your hosting and watching your delicious appetizers brighten up your guests' eyes.
