Vancouver's Chinese restaurant chefs go mano a mano cookoff - mandarin restaurant signature dishes

Yes, we have a lot of great Chinese restaurants in Vancouver, but most of us don't know who is making very elaborate menus.

A dozen chefs from top Chinese restaurants will compete for gold, silver and bronze.
They make a main course and two side dishes with chicken, duck and tofu, each for 30 minutes.
They will be judged by taste, presentation, professional preparation, location.
The winners will be presented at the HSBC China restaurant awards ceremony on January 18, 2011.
