With so many outlets and small restaurants, keeping up with the pace has become a challenge.
The cooking scene there is more movement than anywhere in GTA.
Immigrant food is well integrated with specific times and regions, and then there are many young entrepreneurs mixing these cultures to create new dishes.

"I'm from Punjab, but I was born and raised in Brampton.
I grew up in a variety of cultures here, which has always inspired me in my cooking.
My style is to mix different styles of food to create something new.
"Matharu took part in some pop-up events and cooking competitions through GTA, where he served delicious samosa.

Matharu recalled his mother's spiced chicken meatloaf when she was a kid at a barbecue.
He wants to make a burger like an Indian kebab.

"My mom helped me with the base spice mix for this dish and I have been refining it for the past year or two," he said . ".

I grew up with it all my life.
Although there are many places that specialize in "fragrant rice", this dish is easily blamed for dry rice or excessive seasoning.
Manjeethas has been cooking biryani all her life and she has a slightly different way of seasoning rice.
"Instead of the whole spice, I grind and bake my spice;
"So it really gets into the rice," she said . ".
What is this practice of soaking spices in rice for me?
When she served her chicken curry, each scoop was rich in Trigona and cumin.
The rice is slightly moist, not loose, the chicken is very tender and soaked in spices.
It's easy to be one of the best biryanis I have in a while.
The food I eat in Brampton gives me a glimpse of how the culture of the big city blends, and it will laugh at where it can go.
Rick's food is a good example.
A combination of two ideas.
Rick and Manjeet are committed to maintaining their cultural traditions and roots, and they are willing to experiment without judgment.
This is a way of cooking, leaving a mark long after your visit, and will suddenly wake you up in the middle of the night, resulting in an insatiable desire.
