Two government agencies are investigating an outbreak of salmonella infection associated with frozen tuna and advise consumers to be cautious about sushi orders.

"Restaurants and retailers should check with their suppliers not to sell or supply ground tuna recalled by Yansen tuna," the notice said . ".
"They should also ensure that they are cleaned and disinfected where the ground tuna is stored or prepared for recall.
"Symptoms of salmonella include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps, which, according to CDC, typically develop within 12 to 72 hours of consuming contaminated products.
