Street food is one of the hidden treasures of Northern Indian cuisine.
Unfortunately, the situation is not prominent in most of the restaurants here-in Sri Hartamas, Namaste, India, wants to correct it.
One of the selling points of this restaurant is authentic street food, featuring a variety of Northern Indian dishes at affordable prices.
Namaste India has been operated by the same owner who runs the Hourplace Hartamas restaurant and bar on the second floor of the restaurant for the past year. Co-
Melissa Norman, the owner, said that when she and her husband akshir Gupta could not find a place to serve North Indian cuisine, the naming of India became a reality.
"We are trying to make the taste of Indian service a reality and that's what people want," she said . ".
The best thing about street food is that they serve like appetizers (
More opportunities for indulgence)
Every bite is full of taste.
In a recent sample survey, we started with the typical street food, pani puri.
This dish is made of mini puri shells and mashed potatoes, hummus beans, topped with mint chutney and Special five perfumes.
This dish is the most delicious food.
Crispy fried bread with soft fillings and freshness of Mint Chili sauce provides a small pocket full of taste.
Next up is hara bhara chaat, which includes the spinach leaves applied to the thin batter, which are fried and mixed with the salad and different hot and sour sauces.
The first impression of this dish is how the different textures are combined, especially the tamarind chili sauce and sev (
Long thin silk of grams of flour, deep-
Fried with spices).
The main dishes are rice or bread.
Various dhal as well as vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
Vegetarian options are available.
Personally, the bread goes well with the different naan bread that makes gravy the center of the stage.
No Northern Indian meal would be complete without fresh farm cheese paneer.
The cheese here is-
The House and quality were great because no preservatives were added to change the taste.
The most popular is palak paneer (
Large farm cheese cooked with creamy spinach gravy)
Paneer butter masala with cream cheese-and-tomato gravy.
My favorite is paneer tikka, a pickled cheese cooked in a traditional tandoor oven.
The slight burning of the edge of the cheese cube is in good contrast to soft cheese, while the accompanying spicy mint sauce brings out the cream of goat's milk.
For the choice of rice, try the lamb Briyani, which includes the roasted lamb pieces in the seasoned basmati rice and served with raita.
The rice is very fluffy, but the star of the dish is tender and delicious meat.
If you find the menu hard to eat, then Tandoori Sizzlers is a good choice.
Complete with marinated meat and fish cooked in tandoor oven.
This dish is served with creamy cashew sauce.
When most Restaurants outsource their desserts, everything is used in Namaste, India-site.
Melissa said this would give better control over the quality of the food.
"Most Malaysians prefer desserts that are not too sweet, so we try to meet that demand.
"It was a blow," she said . ".
Carrot Hawa, gulabou jameng and kurfei are popular referrals here.
