My First Dinnerware - Vintage Corelle - made in us dinnerware porcelain

Vintage Corelle cutlery always has a special location in my heart, especially the grass pattern of 1970.
When I first moved out of my parents' house (OK, on the way), I picked my first set of cutlery.
This is the grass pattern of Corning company.
Of course, when I bought it in the store, it was not vintage, it was new.
This is going to date me because the grass is one of the First patterns that Correll made-
At that time, the latest, high
Technical Materials of Corning company.
Prior to this, Corning tableware was made in Centura.
Centura and Corelle, a material known as pyroceram, are a combination of ceramic and glass components that melt at very high temperatures to form materials with uniform elasticity.
Pyroceram has been developed for nosecones for missile and space projects that require strength and resistance to extreme heat.
When I got first place, Apollo 11 landed on the moon for less than 10 years.
We might take it for granted today, but, how cool it is, let some food from the beginning of the research project be made into dishes to help humans get into space!
I chose this pattern because it is cheerful and there are several colors to choose from if you want to mix and match your table settings.
You can choose blue, pink, green and yellow.
This is a retro, 1970 second grass pattern.
There is a recent pattern, also called Meadow, which has different shapes and colors.
This modern version was made from around 2006 to 2009 with more pink in the theme.

If you want to make a vintage set of cutlery, it's easy enough if you investigate local and online sources.
In the Meadow case of Corelle, please note that there are several patterns with similar names, such as English Meadow and summer Meadow, and the 1970 version of Meadow you may see. Who knows. . .
It may be difficult for you to decide which one is your favorite!

I like this tableware!
If you are looking for old fashioned Corelle that you can use and enjoy, I have some tips to look.
You may find that the same is true for mixed bowls, casserole dishes and other Pyrex glass pieces of similar years.
