Michelin men will eat their words, vow chefs - most popular italian dishes in restaurants

They are known throughout the world as creators of some of the best and most popular dishes in the world.
But according to the world's top food guide, Italian chefs are more concerned about their reputation than about cooking, which threatens the culinary reputation of their country.
Michelin's criticism stems from Italy's poor performance in its latest guide, which rewards only five coveted three Italian restaurants
Star status-same number as in Guide 2007.
In contrast, France won 26 third prizes.
Star ratings for Germany 9, Spain 6 and Japan 8.
