Demi Lovato is on a promotional tour in Europe for her new album, confidence, but language barriers seem to confuse her during her visit to Berlin.
In a radio interview with a German DJ in English, 23-year-
Someone asked what was her favorite dish?
She replied without missing a shot: "I like the mugs because they are comfortable in your hands and they hold hot things that you don't have to touch.
So, you know, coffee or hot tea.
Apparently the purpose of the host was to ask about her favorite food, but Demi completely misunderstood the meaning of the question. Or did she?
With the interview footage and her strange answer going viral on the Internet, the summer star's cool insisted she was joking.
For anyone who thinks I misunderstood the "favorite dish" issue --
"You obviously don't understand my sense of humor," she wrote on Twitter . ".
This is not her only headline this week.
During her visit to the UK, she sat down with TV host Alan Carr for an interview in which he asked Demi if the lyrics to summer cool were about lesbian.
I did not confirm, she said, and absolutely did not deny.
