John Gilchrist: Pad Thai kicks up the cuisine a notch with a dash of Chinese influence - most popular chicken dishes in major restaurants

The commotion everywhere
In Thailand, fried rice noodles are the most popular and recognized Thai food in the world.
This is also the favorite name of Thai restaurants.
Surprisingly, all Thai restaurants inside and outside Calgary were not named Pad Thai. Until now.

Patcharin Smith and Pornuma Worasuksri transformed the previous sushi restaurant into a charming Thai restaurant.

In the northern part of Thailand, she learned cooking from her mother, which is more influential in China than in the South.
For example, her fried rice noodles were stirred.
Stir-fry with Chinese-style soy sauce and eggs, and the "money bag" dumplings are wrapped in ton of paper, topped with garlic oil and soy sauce.

The price is reasonable. most dishes are in the middle.

The location of the Tuxedo hotel provides a wealth of parking.
We haven't seen much Taiwanese food in Calgary.

From the counter on the overhead menu, wait a few minutes for the food to arrive.
Most of them were made for takeout, but soon there was a very pleasant dining experiencein area.
There is a long black banquet in the room, the lights are shaded, decorated with wood, and there are about 40 very comfortable seats.

Add Hong Kong puff waffles and desserts with fruit or ice cream or green tea pudding and of course more options.
Where else can you get your palm?
The variety of starch Simi pudding is amazing and the price is no more than $14, most of which are under $10.
