Ireland’s 100 Best Restaurants – now with beach shack and food carts - michelin star restaurants dishes

McKenna's guide has published the annual list of 100 of Ireland's best restaurants, with a wide range of entries from food to snack bars.
According to an influential guide published this week by John and Sally McKenna in the format of Apple and Android apps, Galway is "the best city to eat in Ireland ".
New entries on the list of 100 best restaurants include happy pears from Greystones

The range and Michelin-starred restaurants mark how far Ireland's casual food industry has gone in recent years.

"When you think of a traditional Irish dining car, you think of a terrible experience, a greasy chipper that is only suitable for eating when you are drunk. . .
But these are very, very different.
"However, the 100 best list is also notable for its exclusion.
For example, there is almost no entry in Kilkenny (Campagne ).
The Michelin-starred Lady Helen restaurant in Mount Juliet failed.
The only two Michelin-starred restaurants in Ireland, Patrick Guilbaud, are probably the most surprising omissions, and Oliver Dunn's Good Appetite is absent.
"I will not respect Michelin stars," McKenna said . ".
"It's not something I'm interested in, it's not something that people who buy our books are interested in.

There are a total of 25 restaurants, while Kerry has only four of the top 100 restaurants in Ireland, three of which are in Dingle.
