Probably the only airport in the United States that offers French baguette and croissants.
This is probably the only town in the country with enough restaurant seats --time resident.
But quantity has little to do with quality.
After 15 years in about 100 restaurants in town, the advice is still the same: Keep it simple.
I will limit my comments to those restaurants I eat this year.
As in any resort, even if the name of the restaurant remains the same, food and services can change dramatically with the season.
Of the 15 restaurants I 've tried, 10 have fulfilled their promise, sometimes not just a delicious burger;
Including the five most beautiful and pretentious people, they were very disappointed.
There are several reasons to choose these restaurants: they are new and talk a lot;
They are ancient landmarks;
Locals say they offer the best value.
"You have to know about the restaurant," said Carl Jerome, "there is no good restaurant," he used to be a protester of James Beard and a former Aspen restaurant owner, only excellent dishes.
"The ad for Abetone Ristorante is certainly the case, and it is owned by two former New Yorkers, Ermanno Masini and Don Surin.
Despite the fact, sir.
I found that the pasta was always overcooked.
But the night I was there with a friend of mine, the vegetables in the creamy, delicious primavera sauce did a really good job.
The advertisement Abetone did a good job of fish, although it was a bit immature at times.
The restaurant should also try harder to serve hot food.
The service is fast and professional. in a small town where most restaurant employees are temporary employees, it is worth a lot of points.

Overall, La Cocina, a New Mexico restaurant, offers the most satisfying food, as in the past 10 years.
A avocado sauce with a good texture that can be seasoned with hot salsa on each table, and a slightly hotter bean sauce is two of several appetizers.
Both restaurants feature homemade tortillas.
There are 14 main courses, several of which are famous New Mexico blue
Flour tortillas.
The sauce on many dishes tastes the same, but the taste is good.
Expanded restaurant last year with Southwest theme and bright colors.
Margar tower, which I have not tried this year, has always been fine;

The residents ordered the cheapest dinner, had a full salad and bread, and asked for the main course in the dog bag. At $8.
For salad and bread and for the main course for another meal, this is probably the best option in town.
If you are going to eat beef or chicken the next day, what does it matter if it's not always hot?

The bad news is now. . .
Undoubtedly, the most disappointing thing about this trip is that since the opening of Arthur's Chinese restaurant, I go to a restaurant every year.
Last year, it was expanded by merging the original Victorian-style house with the house next door.
Now, it has a capacity of 260 people, from serving interesting side dishes, Mandarin and Hunan dishes, to a series of dishes that are too sweet, all of which have been properly refined or smoked.
For example, a big discovery six years ago was that the Mandarin Chicken salad with crispy noodles and rich ginger chicken, which is now more lettuce than chicken or noodles, with almost no ginger.
Stuffy it with sweet sauce.
Three of the four main courses are also too sweet to varying degrees.
The owner of this restaurant has an interesting explanation: the Chinese chef does not use MSG under his command.
In order to make up for the flavor booster, they feel that sugar must be used.
David Moss, the owner, said Sichuan cuisine is lacking in spicy food to meet the needs of customers.
Four people advertised dinner, appetizers, and a soup and drink for $80.
Arthur's Chinese restaurant, 303-925-7931.

If the environment is important and the food is not so important, then check out the car in the living room.
It is a Pullman sedan of 1887, and it is still privately owned.
Tables are added to each private room with seats ranging from 2 to 10.
There are many mahogany, stained glass, hanging plants, Victorian style lamps and red velvet.
The environment is the most romantic in town.
But the old tender tenderloin is like a paste,
The Rock Cornish hen is covered with an indescribable heavy sweet sauce.
However, the vegetables are doing very well.
Dinner for four, two appetizers, a glass of wine and dessert for $115 plus a tip.

Credit cards will be accepted in the summer;
Only personal checks or cash are now available.
Poppie's bistro/cafe is located in another of many Victorian-style houses in town.
The service is efficient and friendly.
And the best bread in town.
Sour dough with Shell, you can dip your teeth into it.
Otherwise, although the vegetables are cooked well, the food is either too light or too salty.
Dinner for two was $45 with drinks and a glass of wine.

Staats offers the only best main course I 've ever had in Aspen.
Add rotten butter.
The restaurant is designed like a Victorian-style British bar with stainless steel glass windows, bentwood chairs and oak tables, with a lot of space and a lot of noise.
The chef may be a Scot, but his veal and ham pie is wrapped in a damp crust surrounded by a rubber-like aspic;
The dressing on the salad was completely diluted;
Colorado lamb is tender and tasteless
A green, hard Brussels Bud;
Cappuccino in ice.
But the salmon with garlic butter added to the crispy pastry is great, the fish is moist, the cooking is perfect, the shell is crisp, and the butter.
Dutch airlines are acceptable.
Advertising service is fast.
The dinner for two was $60 and included two tasteless desserts, drinks and a glass of wine. Staats, 303-925-6950.

Aspen's most beautiful and pretentious restaurant, l'Armagnac, opened in another Victorian house this year.
The ceiling of the main restaurant is hung with a lovely flower fabric, like a tent.
The table was beautifully arranged, but the waiter in the dress could not name the French on the menu.
Someone ordered a drink and it took 20 minutes, another 15 minutes for bread and butter.
We were asked to move to another table before the drinks came so that our drinks could be used for an unexpected foursome party.
It took less than an hour to get a bunch of rubber, tasteless lobsters, salmon, water chicken mousse that are likely to have been frozen.
The castle is more suitable for the name of the baked beans.
Dinner for two people with dessert, drinks and a glass of wine for $70 plus a tip. L'Armagnac, 303-925-8248.
Eat at 6 in 7 days
Booking is recommended. Closed mid-April to mid-June; mid-
September until the day after Thanksgiving

You may have noticed that we ordered only one bottle of wine.
The price is very high.
Most Aspen restaurants, like other resort restaurants, Mark wine three to three and a half times.
It is worth noting that: 10 A offers the best warm and soft chocolate biscuits of all tastes, including my favorite peanut butter chocolate biscuits. M. to 8 P. M.
In the chip Hooray.
90 cents for big biscuits;
40 cents small.
You can find a delicious French breakfast toast at the café on Freddie Street.
If you want to see where the wealthy town dwellers have lunch, go to the Ute City bank and get the name because it used to be a bank.
If you like liver, recommend Golden Horn.
Guido's is a Swiss hotpot restaurant with cheap prices.
As the name implies, home cooking is a simple homemade food.
There is a French advertising company operating a cafe at the airport.
Great location with croissants and sandwiches.
The business in Aspen this year was a bit rough.
Even in restaurants that don't accept reservations, the wait time is not as long as it used to be.
But for tourists in winter or summer, the best advice is to save expensive food for big cities, where you are more likely to get what you pay.
After all, you don't eat in Aspen.
