The initial impression was a small regional chain of French-style bistros and wine shops.
The branch visited is a listed store in the downtown of Wirksworth.
There is a charge and display car park across the market, but the restaurant itself does not.
There are three general menus in Le Mistral and one for children;
A snack menu in the morning and afternoon, a fixed price, a lunch menu for two or three dishes and a la carte menu.
There are also a selection of daily specials including desserts.
There are also many kinds of wines here, many of which are made of glass.
There are only a few tables in the upstairs part of the restaurant, plus a few stools in the bar, but there are more tables in the brick cellar downstairs.
The basement consists of many small interconnected doors with tables in each room.
The table used is in the cellar.
Visited the restaurant on Sunday night and ordered a la carte menu.
It's busy here. there are people on the tables upstairs and some downstairs.
Ordered two drinks and two bottles of Coca-Cola.
StarterThe appetizer is a mini thatched house consisting of white wine, onion, parsley, garlic and French green mouth in cream sauce, with French bread and butter slices.

Usually, there is very little green mouth in this type of dish, but the price is similar, so the appetizer is worth the money.
Although this is a matter of personal taste, the light dishes are a bit too salty.
Unfortunately, no plates were provided to place empty shells, which would be a more convenient place to place shells than outside the plates;

This is the only steak on the menu, very unusual
It is rare, it comes in the way of order.
There is very little fat on the steak. it is delicious and tender.
The total cost of the meal is 28. 70.
Le Mistral is not a cheap place but the quantity and quality of the food is good.
The steak is naturally the most expensive and more expensive than the one you see on the hips and the like.
Although downstairs, the service was good.
If a bit expensive, have a nice meal in a restaurant with quite a few personalities.
