Day of the Dead brings Quadrant Mall to life - mexican restaurant menu side dishes

On Friday night, the Quadrant Mall in Launceston joined the ancient Mexican tradition.
Celebratexa0Dia de Muertos or "day of death" brought by Mexican restaurant Holy Guacamolexa0Draw facexa0Restaurant owner Freddie Annis hopes the live music and party atmosphere will be the annual event.
"Basically, the family will come out on this day for the deceased loved ones, cook their favorite dishes, celebrate life, and that's what we celebrate," Mr Anis said . ".
"We change it by making it a party instead of a festival.
The genius of Launceston was asked to reproduce Mexican culture, tattoo studio inkorpor was responsible for facial painting, and actress and stylist Carmen fuen was responsible for costume production.
"The day of death is very different from Halloween," said Miss Forne . ".
"We want to have Mexican flavor here and the staff look more like they came out of the streets of Mexico. . .
