City rate hikes putting increased stresses on Regina businesses - what do restaurants use to wash dishes

"The restaurants are usually water pigs.
We use a lot of water, "said Greg Hanwell, partner of the beer brothers.
"We have huge water bills, but we are looking for ways to reduce water use and improve efficiency.

The search for ways to improve water recovery began in 2009.

Hanwell said that as pressure on higher fees increases, these proposed rate increases have caused serious damage to businesses.
"When you hurt the restaurant, you hurt the lower-scale people.
"This will make people lose their jobs," he said . ".
