Police said an old boy called 911 in norfolk, south of Branford, complaining that his parents had asked him to help with the dishes.
They said that on Thursday night, the boy called an emergency phone after his parents asked him to help wash the dishes online.
Children who do not follow the rules?
When the police arrived, OPP said there was no reason to call 911 and they said in a press release that the boy had asked them to find him a new family.
At least two police officers need about half an hour to deal with the calls, which take resources away from a real emergency, police said.
