Italian restaurants in Long Island are jumping, but Indian restaurants are struggling.
Although there are never as many as 10 Indian restaurants in Nassau and Suffolk counties, there are hundreds and perhaps thousands of Italian restaurants.
Despite the fact that Italian restaurants thrive on the island, there are more Indian restaurants in one block of Manhattan's East Village than all islands, but the two have something in common.
Both sides have entered a period of change.
Pasta cafes and restaurants are superstars in their early 80 s and 90 s.
Cheap, diverse and healthy pasta dishes have driven the success of many new restaurants.
But there are signs that the pasta March is slowing down and will end soon.
Barman Trani, who has been quick to recognize the changing food and beverage trends, is a trailblazer in Italy80's.
One of the first island restaurants to recognize the potential of modern restaurants with moderate prices-

Tehrani said many of his co-owners would follow his example and diversify and warned: "It's time to do so.
"While Indian restaurants have not changed their direction, their activities are more active than normal.
Over the past few months, one of the latest Indian restaurants in New Hyde Park, the port of Mumbai, and one of Melville's oldest Xita restaurants have been closed.
At the same time, the two largest companies are also expanding.
11 years ago, Bobby Chacala and Ryan Saini opened a Jackson restaurant in Jackson Heights.
Its Indian food is popular and therefore encourages shopkeepers to try more ambitious adventures.
