People in Calgary like their vegetables more than just side dishes and they may already know the best vegetarians in the country --
Friendly menus are being made here in Coton.
According to a list released this week by the online restaurant booking app OpenTable, Calgary has five of Canada's top 50 vegetarian restaurants.
"There has been a real change in the catering industry as vegetarian food is part of the growing standard in menu planning.
There are many incredible restaurants with a wide variety of plants
"Based on the choices, but without the knowledge of the internal staff, finding them can be a challenge and a time-consuming job," said Caroline Porter, chief catering officer at OpenTable . ".
"There is no reason for vegetarians to limit dining choices or experiences, and there is no reason for that.
We are excited to share this list to showcase Canadian cuisine and multicultural diversity at our vegetarian restaurant from coast to coast.

"About six months before we opened, I ended up choosing a vegetarian diet," she said . ".
Her business partner, including chef Justin Bieber, promises to make sure Donna Mack is not only a vegetarian, but at least one dish for vegetarians, gluten-free

"We said, let's make sure everyone can eat something that has not been modified," she said . ".
The menu is evolving, but now it's about 40 cents vegetarian diet with three or four vegetarian options, Turner said.

Erin Penosky, the owner, said that at Koi, the entire menu was almost vegan.
There are curry and noodle bowls with vegetarian options, as well as salads and kimchi rice bowls.
"Our soup for the day is always vegetarian and gluten --"It's free," she said.
"So, we definitely cater to this crowd better than most other menus, and that's probably only one or two things," she said . ".
People may guess a lot of plants.

Penosky says Koi's Asian black bean burger is one of the best burgers in Western Canada.
"I like our vegetarian black bean pie, which is so delicious.
"I am not a vegan or vegan and I will eat on regular beef burgers at any time," she said . ".
