SYDNEY (Reuters)-
Greece is suffering from debt, violent street protests in the capital Athens, and world financial markets are worried that Greece will withdraw from the euro zone.
But Greece is still a good place to go.
Just head to its idyllic islands.
Reuters, a local journalist, helped tourists explore Paros and Santorini. 4 p. m. -
Fly from Athens to Paros, just 30-minute flight.
After settling in, take a stroll along the road of the main port of parriquilla and stroll along the Haitang, where not only tourists, but also local families will join in, they often watch the Mediterranean sunset at the end of the day.
The Harbor Road embraces the sea and is full of taverns offering leisure lounges and cool sunset drinks, but take a stroll to the Venetian castle overlooking the port in the 13th-century.
Part of the castle was built by an ancient temple that once stood in the same place. 5 p. m. -
A short walk to the most popular beach Livadia in parliquia.
This is a great place for you to swim in the Mediterranean for the first time, if you want to have a drink before returning to the port center for dinner. 7 p. m. -
Now that the darkness has come, it's time to go shopping.
Stroll through the maze of streets that split the ancient village of parricchia into two.
During the day, as the sea breeze disappears like the old pirate, the heat is suffocating, but at night, the weather is cool and exciting.
Shopping here is cheaper than Athens and Santorini, and shops offer local-made boutique goods. 8 p. m. -
Shopping will make you hungry.
Many seaside pubs have grilled octopus and fish caught off the coast of parricchia.
Go to the Central Market Street for something more upscale, to whitewash and Vine
Full courtyard restaurant Levantis.
Levantis serves modern Mediterranean dishes such as baked lamb in an oven wrapped in fresh herbs and lamb sauce, fav bean paste and mint sauce on the vine leaves.
For romantics, go to the Franca Scala bar and restaurant on Palea Agora, a little north of Levantis. 10 p. m. -
After dinner, you can stroll down to the Pebbles jazzbar, overlooking the harbor, a trendy little bar with live music until late at night.
There is also a pirate bar at the foot of Scala, France, specializing in jazz, blues and classical music. 7 a. m. -
Start the day with a classic Greek breakfast of swimming and Greek coffee, yogurt and fruit.
Be careful not to stir the coffee before drinking it, as you will stir the deposit and pick it from your teeth. 9 a. m. -
The Paros hotel has many beaches, and it is convenient to take a bus or rent a car.
The Palos Tennis Club is just south of palicchia, where you can ski water, kite surfing or scuba diving through Palos water sports.
But if all this is still too laborious, hop on Agios Georgios, sail for a day on Paros and nearby islands, snorkel, swim and grill in the undersea caves.
The ship departed from the small fishing village of Pico liwadi, 19 km southeast of pariquia, at 9: 00. 30 a. m.
And return at 6. 30 p. m. 12 p. m. -
The Port of Antiparos is small.
You can watch the boat come in, the fishermen hang the octopus in the sun to dry, and then go across the road with blue tables and plastic covered table clothes to the Anargyros Restaurant and hotel and eat the same octopus for lunch. 3 p. m. -
You can take the afternoon express ferry to Santorini or the next day's Ferry to Santorini. 5 p. m. -
Sailing to Santorini is amazing.
From a distance, the white buildings on the island are like a snow, these buildings attached to the steep cliffs around the craterCapped Mountain
The volcanic island broke out in 1650 BC, partially sinking into the sea, leaving a huge central lagoon.
The eruption was the largest in recorded history, killing the island's population at the height of Minos civilization.
If you land in the main port of Fira, you will be picked up by the hotel's bus or taxi to the steep driveway at the top of the crater.
If you land on the north end of Yaya, you can also choose to ride a donkey and climb the pebbles --stoned path. 6 p. m. -
Santorini is a beautiful view at sunset, so if you arrive on a Saturday afternoon, simply sit down on the hotel balcony or pool and wait for the Sun to sink. 8 p. m. -
The whitewashed buildings that stretch along the cliff are actually a series of villages, from Fira in the South to Firostefani, Imerovigli to Oia in the north.
Fira and Imerovigli are connected by a winding path along which you can take a walk and pick the restaurant you think is the best for dinner --
There are hundreds to choose from.
Near the village of Imerovigli, there are blue notes, high Highlands sitting outdoors, or Akteon taverna who taste traditional Greek food at Firosteafni.
Santorini's seafood is very fresh, and taverna puts a sign on the octopus hanging on the window: "Please don't touch the octopus.
This is true, it will be eaten! ! ! ”7 a. m. -
Get up early for breakfast, and if you don't mind, try the goat track to the rocky knuckles that stretch out from Imerovigli.
If not, go shopping along the path of the crater and have an espresso and a refreshing iced coffee.
If you are too late, the sun will start to bake through the crater, which becomes an endurance trek. 9 a. m. -
For the rest of the day, rent a car on black volcanic soil beaches in Santorini (such as Vlichada and Preivolos) and wineries or Boutari etc. 12 p. m. -
Enjoy lunch at Dimitris taaverna on the edge of the north end Ammousi Bay is essential.
You need to park your car on the side of the road and walk to the bay at the bottom of the towering cliff.
The table in the restaurant is very close to the water and you will be splashed by the waves. 3 p. m. -
Another option is to sail on a sailing yacht Bella Aurora or briating talasa at 3 every day.
At zero o'clock P. M. , end your cruise at Ammousi Bay near Santorini, watching the sun sizzling under the Mediterranean. (
