why do good writers market for others instead of ... - why do restaurants let dishes air dry

If I were a good writer, I don't think I would waste my time writing for others. 1.
You have to sell yourself to get hired 2.
Once you get a writing job, you have to study and write.
You have to deal with the rubbish of the people who hire you (such as rewriting, etc ). . . .
It seems to be too much work. . . . . . . .
If you are a great and creative writer, I think you can sell products and earn passive income.
Internet marketing makes it easy for anyone to become a member.
Once you have a product to sell, write it down as much as you can.
Then, sit down and let the sales in. Am I wrong?
