I went into town on Friday night to give my family takeout which is our tradition.So, imagine my surprise when I couldn't find a parking spot near my family's favorite place.There was no other option and I was forced to take dinner from the dining car.If I knew what a severe test it would be.After reluctantly buying food, we faced the dilemma of where to sit.Of course, this is never a problem in a restaurant.But because the dining car is outdoors, seats are absolutely not guaranteed.To make matters worse, we couldn't find the bin anywhere, we just put paper plates, wooden cutlery and napkins on the grass like the old lady nearby.Taxpayers may now have to pay for the disposable pottery we discard.One of the benefits of eating in a restaurant or cafe compared to a dining car is that the former is able to provide a bathroom facility for customers.I suggest that taxpayers should do so if they intend to subsidize food vans in Launceston city, knowing that they will also be equipped with toilets, preferably hand basins.Many letters have recently condemned the standards of television programs.I haven't seen any response from the TV station so far.I just watched a third repeat of a show that played 15 ads in a row, three of which were repeat ads and didn't start playing until the end of February.If, as we have been told, there is a limit on the number of ads that can be displayed for a given period of time, who has the right to check this?I don't think they have done our duty.Our recycle bin is almost full, and our average trash can is just half full, after we choose not to put the trash can for a month.During that time, there were also 6 interstate tourists and 10 campers here for a night barbecue, which was also a waste.So for those who have been asking for weekly collections, I will ask you to check your lifestyle.Supermarkets now take back clean soft plastic and organic waste into compost, and once this government stops paying for more research on canned and bottled deposit plans and takes practical action on that, I will advertise for monthly garbage collection and subsequent interest rate reductions.The owners of solar roof generators appear to have increased complaints that they have not received greater tariffs.Let's hope it doesn't catch or other perishable commodity producers like strawberries and blueberries, and may start making similar requests.Maybe we are entering a new world where the right thing is not the customer but the producer.
