Quick and Easy Hush Puppies - Hush Puppy Recipe - quick easy and profitable restaurant dishes
For those who are not familiar with it (what a sad state of events it is), Hushpuppy is a traditional side dish in southern America.
The easiest thing to do is fried tortillas.
It may not sound like that, but the quiet puppy is very delicious, light and fluffy omelette.
Hushpuppes in the South usually provide seafood such as catfish or okra.
The name is believed to have come from the days of slavery in the United States, when the chef would throw the fried corn noodles to the dog and silence the puppy.
If you have only experienced quiet puppies in a chain of seafood restaurants, you have not tasted real things.
This recipe has been around for generations in my family, so I can't attribute it directly.
Like all good recipes, these quantities can be adjusted according to the taste of the person to be eaten.
So, try gluten.
No flour or salt-if you must!
These hushpuppes are always popular when cooking according to recipe specifications and are a simple side dish. Buttermilk -
First, you will mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add eggs, onions and enough buttermilk to mix the mixture together.
When the dosage is correct, the mixture will easily drop into the grease from the spoon.
After everything is mixed, heat your grease, preferably the one used to cook the fish, although it just adds some extra flavor.
Then, when the grease is hot enough, drop the mixture in with a spoon.
Don't squeeze quiet puppies in the crowd.
Cook until golden brown.
Remove from hot oil and drain water on paper towels.
These are usually eaten with tomato sauce or tar sauce, preferably when hot. Enjoy!
