When Dwayne and Alberta Ennest considered opening a new restaurant, they looked at the current dietary trends and came up with two opposite concepts --
Vegetarian and BBQ. High-tone vegetable-
Dedicated dishes are now popular in North America, while the taste of sauce and meat is slow --
Barbecue in the South is very popular.
So what do you do with both?
Now, the owner of the open ranch and big fish on the Edmonton Trail decides Bowness.
They lived in Montgomery for years and saw the success of Michael Noble in the region, and they felt that a new operation by Bowness could work.
Therefore, the White Rose vegetarian restaurant and the coal shed Smoke House were born at 6512 N Bowness Road. W. (403-455-8055)

It is located on one side of the White Rose entrance and offers a range of barbecue ribs, pulled meat, cattle bris and more, including grilled burgers.

The restaurant is located outside the main vegetarian area.

Those who want to order from two menus-can dine.
A third restaurant is being built.
A historic trolleybus takes the Calgary Asians all the way to Bowness Park, which has been restored and placed in the small square in front of the white rose and coal shed.
In order to create more dining space, it will be equipped with a table soon.
The terrace restaurant is also at work.
As a result, vegetarians and carnivores can have a pleasant meal both indoors and outdoors in the White Rose and coal shed.

White Rose and coal shed are not the only new restaurants in Bowness.
Four Seasons Hotel Bowness Park recently opened in a sparkling new building in Bowness Park Lagoon, 8900-48 N Avenue. W. (403-202-5065).
After the 2013 floods, the city carried out major sea filling and development work in the park, including the construction of a new food service facility.

Nearby, train and boat rentals are in full swing at the newly revitalized Bowes Park.
