One of my favorite breads is Challah. For many weeks, we will start a bread on Friday and it will be gone by Monday.French toast made with challah was fantastic. We made challah ourselves and bought challah in both the store and the bakery.
If you make challah yourself, you can knead it with your hands, let it rise, or use a toaster. We tried a lot of different challah recipes. We have our favorite, but a few are very good. There are also several stores that we all like.I would like to share a recipe for a French toast casserole that uses a whole block of challah.French toast casserole 1 piece of challah1 cup of milk (whole milk or half and a half works best) (add extra liquid to the recipe if your challah is large) cup brown sugar 8 eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla teaspoon cinnamon salt taste cut challah into 1 inch thick slices. At the bottom of the casserole.Tear the bread as needed and put it in a casserole.Mix the remaining ingredients together.Pour over the casserole at night, cover it and put it in the refrigerator.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes.I have seen ginger and nutmeg used in French toast casserole recipes. If you like these flavors, you can add a teaspoon of nutmeg or a teaspoon of ground ginger. Both will add extra flavor to the casserole. You can also add cranberry or raisins to the recipe.Pour the fruit on the bread in the casserole and pour the liquid mixture on it.After the casserole is made, cut into squares for consumption. You can sprinkle powdered sugar on it, fill it with fruit, or pour syrup on it.Children like to help in the kitchen.Children like to cook.I think one of my favorite recipes for kids is throwing cakes. This is a cake and you throw everything in the baking tray and bake it.Pour 20 oz crushed pineapple 16 oz cherry pie into 1 pack of yellow cake mixture, dry 1/2 Rod butter, slice all ingredients into a baking pan and bake at 350 FHave fun with the children.Replace the cherry pie with blueberries or strawberries. If you like nuts or coconuts, you can also put some on the plate. If you like chocolate cake, try the chocolate cake mixture instead of the yellow one. This is a very interesting recipe and the kids love the cake they make very much.Another of my favorite recipes for children is trail mix.Children can make their own trail mix.Buy a bag of nuts, a box of Chex cereal, a bag of chocolate chips, a bag of pretzels, in the trail mix, a bag of raisins and whatever other goodies you want, then take out the snack size Ziplocs.Children can mix the trails and pack them up for lunch and snacks. They like to eat when they do it.This is a very healthy snack.Have you ever had a waffle sandwich?Get some Eggo waffles.Let the kids toast and then put peanut butter and jelly on it.You can also have the kids chop up the bananas and add them. They like their own breakfast sandwiches.Do your kids like burrito?Let them make their own burritos.Put tomatoes, cheese, olives, chopped chicken and anything else that might be in the fridge in the container.Give the kids tortillas and let them add the ingredients they like and then pack and eat them.My last suggestion is a skewer.Children like to make kebabs themselves.Chop up some apples, pineapples or melons.Cut some cheese cubes and let the kids make their own fruit and cheese kebabs.Use yellow cheese and white cheese.Use the red melon and the orange melon. This allows children to make brightly colored and enjoyable kebabs that they both like to make and eat.~ Audrey's mother was always happy when she grew up.Audrey learned to prepare for large groups and often entertained 15-She has 30 people at home. You can find more great recipes online.recipe-barn.
